Camp Whatever

I had an amazing time at Camp Whatever this week. It was my “rookie year” there and i loved every second of it (especially winning Tidy Cabins on the first day over my intern colleague Canaan Chapman). I just started being able to talk again so that is good. I have been hoarse from screaming and MS boys since Wednesday night! I am still far from singing, but I have a little over a week until its time to lead worship again. One of the highlights of the week for me was getting to lead Nathan Peterson and Spenser Siers as they crossed the line of faith and accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour. They were both incredibly genuine as they received Grace for the first time. It was especially cool for me to see Spenser wrestle with questions about God through our Family Group Time and then come to the realization that he couldn’t understand God without having a relationship with Him. PTL! (Praise the Lord). Graham Moseley was another student who was in my Family Group that accepted Christ for the first time this week. He was broken as he explained to me how the first time he was confronted with Christ he “accepted” because he wanted the cheese and crackers! How awesome that God showed Him that this week! Needless to say there were many more lives changed for eternity this week and I am so excited to where our Student Ministry is headed now! I’m ready to see some world changers! PTL again!
